Harmony Guys?...

Let us assume that our work place is a plant with beautiful flowers in full bloom. It survives with sunlight, water and fertile soil.

Lacking any one of the ingredients, it will wither and die...

God has put us together as a multiracial, multisocial, multibackgrounds, multiacademic, multimentality, multireligion, multiideology and many other multi differences in the work place that has toiled for many years, and to achieve what we are today. Lets value the harmony and prosperity existing in this company.

Blow The Job

I have been working hard, very hard for my employer for many years. Never complaint so much as other colleagues, for me its just part of the job whenever we stumbled with problems. Thats the fact, we are here to solve problems.

But lately, for the past months I sees the problems becomes more and more. These problems are not much of a problem relating to what my job functions is related to. The problem is the management team lead by this lady that does not have experience in the industry but try to show she knows everything and can do everything, but in a wrong way thus has caused politic taking among the senior staff and confuse the lower ranking staff. The morale became very low.

Staff are complaining too on many issues related to their wellfares. She got guts to accuse me for instigating the staff!!! Hello..... people have mouth, I can't do much about what they want to say or raise and I have nothing to do with it. Its freedom of speech ok.. go check on your own backyard first (to confirm no one talk bad about you behind your back). I believe if she really looking, she would find even her own staff has been talking about her.

Personnaly I think she is not clever enough, but she once said to me "I can look pretty, model look, sweet but I'm not dumb you know". Actually majority of the staff who can think wisely would say shes really dumb actually... Emm....one wonders how can she end up at the high position when there are many senior and experience staff around that are much more qualified and understand the job better. Many have suggested that she has use the blow the job technique to the boss... he he...

Be Positive Say You...

Please do not be negative... huh!! (sigh), the GM said to me this afternoon.

Honestly speaking, I have been vocal in championing the positive way of doing things as best as possible. Being human, its natural to have feeling of discomfort, dissappointment, fed up, tired and mumble a bit, but this does not indicate that I'm a negative person. Get your facts right before open your mouth, I thought. Emm... nevermind, I'm still okay I guess...

It is also natural for a superior to scold, bombard or raise their voice or show their 'boss aura' towards their subordinates, sometimes without checking first, thinking that I would be afraid and feel intimidated. But I'm not the kind of guy you can easily threaten. Still, what to do.... I'm just a small potato here. Even, when we raise some important matter, they will say it is not important and is wrong for me to raise it eventhough that is the only way to raise it. They want to know what is the problem, when I tell them the truth, they want to know what is the solution, I tell them everything but later they said that is not the problem. If you know better than me, why you ask me then??? Do it yourself!!!

What the f.....! I'm still positive...positive...

Relish & Enjoy

It has been a very long and tired non stop adventure for the past 3 months or so. I have been trying to find ways to slow down the pace and relax a bit. But I always stuck with something new to do. Even the trip away from the city few weeks back also can't seem helping out to ease the stress level.

Luckily, few days back one of my friend contacted me and invite me to his 'happy hours' establishment. I was somewhere afar in the middle of discussion at that time when he call, and I thought why not? When is the best time? The best time to go is usually at times where you never plan to go and its will be more fun I guess.

And at the end I have a very good time through out the night till the next afternoon, relishing all the mess in my head (s) : got layed (x2) and I really have a marvelous time enjoying everything!!! Emmm... I should do this more frequent from now onwards...

How to say NO

There has been many times that I received calls from telemarketers inviting me to attend their respective companies product offering. In the past I have mix reaction and reply. The first experience I have was more than 10 years back, it was a holiday timeshare and I've found it was a reasonable good offer and not easy to resist. I ended up became a member by paying a huge initial sum. I only utilese the package for the 1st year. The following year it just fell off from my schedule due to other commitments.

Later, I received other similar invitations as well which I turn down politely. Some I attended but left the office in less than 10 minutes. Few months back, I was invited for a presentation on medical health packages which 'force' me to make decision on the spot. This has given me pressure to make the decision due to other commitments. Even if the offer is excellent, it tend to have some flaws too i.e. you have to make decision on the spot without delay after the presentation. For example in the case of the medical health package which intended to make you become much more healthy, it ended up makes me feel dizzy with the continous pressure to take up the package. Such scenario would not have serve the purpose of the offer at the first place. I prefer to give the prospect ample time to think about it because it is not a small sum for the downpayment.

Today, again I was cornered by 3 people from a leisure company offering their packages. They all keep saying it is a good package and I should grab it. I've told them nowadays I usually would not make anymore mistake by saying YES on the spot for any such offer anymore thus I need some times to think about it if I want to commit myself to it. They kept me there for more than 2 hours instead of 45 minutes even I have said NO many times. They let me go after the last head hancho of the company can't persuaded me any longer when I said my final NO.

Even when we say NO, some people still do not want to understand to accept the decision. Why can't they? No means NO, don't they know what does that means? Wat a day lol....

Lets Gossip!

I'm not use in gossiping you know. But when met up with some of my friends who talks a lot about their bosses, colleagues or whom they know, it is evident that I can't avoid but to participate in the related topics whichever effected me.

I've found that many of us actually kept tonnes of unhappines, anger, frustration and many unsolve issues inside our mind, and this sometimes create stress. This issues most of it comes from a third party.

But by getting together with friends or even having conversation with someone we just met and get to know tend to give us the opportunity to release such stresses. I have tried it, and I feel very good about it which give me more energy and ideas how to overcome the issues that had causes me stress at the first place. Go gossip! go gossip!. You might agree with me and you might not, but whatever it is...I've felt much relief now...

R U Religious Correct?

I'm somewhat people call a free thinker but I believe in God. Throughtout my childhood years I have learn many of what my father's side religion were teaching about.

All the religion in the world teach about love, respect, do good things, avoid wrong doing and many positive things for benefits of our soul. During my adulthood lives, I saw many of all this teaching was not practice by majority of the religious followers. Many just follow blindly without any effort to study and understand their own religion thus many had come up with different ideas or miss-interpret the teachings.

Today, I got to know that someone had said about me behind my back that I'm not a true believer and not worthy to continue as one. The reason becoz he saw me together with my non believer girlfriend and attending at non believer functions.

Being a multiracial country, we cannot avoid meeting up many people from different culture and believes and also attending to their respective functions once awhile. You cannot say that your religion is better then the other one, and theirs is no good, its a very subjective issue in reality.

If you r so pious, then why not you approach and teach someone that who lack in understanding and practice of the said teaching? instead of avoiding or talk behind people's back? isn't this consider as wrong too? so what the hell r u talking about being a good believer? a staunch believer? what a hipocrit!!!

Anyone have Osama Ben Laden contact number???

Shopping

It has been a very long time since the last time I went for shopping. Shop for something that for me, for myself and I have never imagine that I can really go shop and shop. This shopping stuff is dominated by the female gender as what we all were aware of. 'Shopping' is not for me... and majority of the straight guys out there. We usually 'buy' what we want only.

But I manage to grab more shopping bags than I use to. What did I bought? 1 light blue stripe long sleeve shirt, 1 pink / yellow (color me blind) stripe long sleeve shirt, 3 sexy underwears in different colors, a snicker and a matching sock. WOW!!! In total I bought 7 items at one go!!! And have my hair cut too! How does that feel man? Aaaaa...less money in my wallet already I guess... I think I have to go slow and buy one thing at a time for the next shopping venture, just go and buy what you really need is important such as the underwear:)

Dream To Be Rich

We are living in utmost materialistic world today. To have sufficient money is very important in our lives, but many says money is not everything. However, many also concluded that everything needs money.

Many also said money can't buy happiness, and they also saying without money, one can becomes worst than not happy. Some to the extend of suiciding.

We can't run away from searching for ways of making more money because everyone of us have our own dreams to fulfill and most of it needs money. Dream to have nice and big car, big house, travel the world without restrictions or worry, buy and eat what we want and many more.

I have many dreams (while I was asleep), going nice places, meeting nice people (celebrities and VIPs), enjoy driving good car, and all this makes me smile but it ended once I woke up from my sleep.

There are many ways to achieve our dreams. You can work harder and smarter of what you are doing now or participate in any money making business. In this modern generation with all the technology at hand, you can do it either online or offline. Go catch your dreams!!

There's a friend of mine whom I asked what would be his dream car if he earn RM20,000 (USD$5,800) per month? This question arise after I reveal to him that I would get a Honda City (cost more than RM120,000) with monthly installment of less than RM2,500 (USD$750). His answer was a 2nd hand Daihatsu Charade which only cost less than RM10,000 (USD$2,950). Come on man!!! is that your dream car???!!! Oh! wat ever....

Holiday

Some says holiday is good to get away from all the stress.

Some says holiday is time to get closer with family and to spend more quality times with them.

And there are many more reasons why holiday is needed and many more ways how we should spend it.

Some might only utilise the none working days by watching TV, eat fast food, sleep, watch TV again and spend the whole weekend in the house.

What about you???

Emm... to me it's not much different bcoz I still get headache and stress when I was away for 3 days (my so call holiday). I tried to eat, watch TV and sleep but it just can't work out. The phone still ring (call and sms).

When I reach the office today, I have more than 100 emails piled up already. Each of it has it individual stress level for me. I even have raise my voice already to few people in my first one hour in the office.

I think there are many other out there having the same or worst situation.

What happen in todays world is not something we all want it. The relaxing holidays we longing for is far from our reach. Oh hell!...wat da ever...

Kids Nowadays

What a trip to Ipoh (capital of one of the state situated mid west coast of Malaysia) few days back. I have never drive there before, been there maybe but not sure when, very long ago I guess.

It took me about 1 and half hour to reach the destination (my cousin's house), luckily I've got a good navigator, my mum. She has been to the house few times already, so the travelling is smooth all the way. We have departed very early though, to get away from the expected traffic due to the long holidays (it's Aidilfitri celebrations).

Actually my cousin had flew to China meeting up with his in laws, and left his mother (my mum elder sister) and nephew at his house. I have expected the 'visitation' as one boring experience to me and it became as I have thought. Reason being I have never been there in my adulthood, no friends and don't know where to 'express' myself whilst there, and most of all this so call long distance nephew of mine were too much to handle.

I thought I would have a decent time there, away from works and city buzz of KL (traffic congestion presumebly). Its end up I have to face this little 'pig headed 5 years old boy monkey'. I thought my 4 years old niece and 1 and half year old nephew (my younger brother kids) is terrible, but this is worst, nightmare!!!

I don't want to mention about his parents. This boy is just get into my nerve everytime he open his mouth and show his "want to eat someone" facial expression. His grandma, my auntie have spanked him with rattan many times during my 3 days there, but he never learn!!! He always shows disrecpectful to all of us, this I can't accept and thought of doing something to him boiling very deep inside me. I just can't stand this boy! Alas I did something to him infront of his grandma, I just don't care! And he manage to mellow down his 'bad attitude'...emm for a while. Better than nothing!

I have concluded and following are some of the points base on my observation for why these children including my brothers have behave such a way (disrespectful, aggresive, ignorant / never listen to adult);

a. bad example from parents
b. lack of parents attention
c. parents / caretaker does not put more effort to teach them what is right or wrong
d. parents / caretaker forgot the fundemental recipe of 'love with teaching' not 'hurting'
e. children were let free do what they want without restrictions or supervisions
f. children were exposed too much of television (violent programs) such as Ultraman, Japanese robots, hand combat kungfu and sword fighting scene

Even as now, while I'm typing this blog at a CC, the boys next to me (13 - 14yrs old) and another younger group opposite me (8 - 10yrs old) chanting all the four letter words (in English and Malay) every 1 to 2 minutes. Didn't they know adults was seating next to them?!. Where is the respect?! I just wonder, where are their parents?! What happen to kids nowadays ha????!!!!
